Goan Patal Bhaji
Goan Patal Bhaji – a mildly spiced potato gravy that is a staple breakfast dish in many Goan homes.
Peel and chop the boiled potatoes. Set aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds ,cumin seeds, asafoetida, chopped ginger, curry leaves, green chillies and onion. Sauté for a few seconds.
Add turmeric powder and salt
Add the chopped boiled potatoes and hot water.
Mash the potatoes and simmer for few minutes
Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot with puris or pav
