Beetroot Poriyal

Wash and peel beetroots

Chop beetroots into tiny pieces or grate them

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard, udad dal, green chillies, dry red chillies and curry leaves.

Add chopped beetroot and mix

Cook covered for 8 to 10 minutes

Add salt and freshly grated coconut. Cook for few seconds.

Garnish with corainder leaves

Serve with rice or phulkas
