Bread Rolls
Bread rolls - a delcious Indian snack where bread slices are stuffed with spicy potato masala and deep fried.
To make the potato stuffing, heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, garlic, ginger, green chillies and onion. Saute till onions turn soft.
Add boiled, mashed potatoes , turmeric, red chilly powder, , garam masala
Add boiled peas, salt and mix well.
Add lemon juice and chopped coriander. Keep this stuffing aside.
Cut off side crusts of bread
Dip the bread slice in water for few seconds
Squeeze out the water by pressing the bread between your palms. Place potato stuffing in the centre.
Gently roll the bread and join the edges
Heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls
Once the rolls turn golden brown, remove them using a slotted spoon
Serve bread rolls with tomato ketchup / green chutney
