Kulith Pithla | Horse gram Pithla
Kulith Pithla - a traditional Maharashtrian dish made using horse gram flour
Add 1 cup of horse gram flour in a mixing bowl
Add water and mix well to make a lump free mixture
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida and crushed garlic. Saute
Add green chillies and saute
Add chopped onions and saute till they turn soft.
Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
Add horse gram mixture while simultaneously stirring the mixture
Add kokum petals
Cover and cook for 8 tto 10 minutes
Garnish with chopped coriander and fresh coconut
Serve Kulith Pithla with bhakri and mirchi thecha
