Purple Cabbage & Peas Poriyal

Purple Cabbage and Peas Poriyal  – South India style Cabbage & Peas stir-fry.

Shredded purple cabbage

Heat oil in a pan. Add  mustard seeds,  udad dal, asafoetida, chopped garlic, chopped green chillies, curry leaves and chopped onion. Saute for a minute on low heat.

Add chopped cabbage

Add fresh green peas and salt

Cover and cook till the veggies are cooked

Add fresh coconut

Garnish with chopped coriander
