Sajjige Rotti | Rava Rotti

Sajjige Rotti is a popular Mangalorean breakfast dish made using semolina (rava) and veggies.

In a mixing bowl,add rava, curds, onion, coconut, carrots, chillies, cumin seeds, curry leaves, chopped coriander and salt.

Mix well and prepare a soft dough. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

Divide the dough into medium sized balls

Place the dough ball on a greased banana leaf .

Pat and shape into a rotti

Invert the rotti on a greased tawa . Drizzle oil around the rotti.

Cook on both sides until it turn crispy.

Serve hot with coconut chutney
