Surnoli

Surnoli also known as buttermilk or curd dosa is a popular breakfast dish from the Konkani cuisine. 

Soak rice and methi seeds for 5 to 6 hours

Soak poha (beaten rice)  for few minutes before grinding the batter

Blend soaked rice, soaked poha, fresh coconut and curds to a fine paste

Divide the batter into two parts.  In one bowl of batter, add salt and mix well. In another bowl, add turmeric powder and jaggery. Mix well.

Ferment the batter for 12 to 15 hours
