Ingredients
4 lemons (nimbu)
8 tsp sugar (cheeni)
1 tsp roasted cumin powder (bhuna jeera powder)
1 tsp black salt (kaala namak)
½ tsp chaat masala
1/8 tsp black pepper powder (kali mirch powder)
a pinch of salt (namak)
few mint leaves (pudina ke patte)
4 glasses of chilled water (thanda paani)
few ice cubes. (barf)
Instructions
Cut the lemons and squeeze out lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
Add sugar, black salt, salt, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder and black pepper powder. Mix well till the sugar dissolves.
Add chilled water and mix.
Garnish with mint leaves.
Add ice cubes.
Pour into glasses and serve chilled.
Notes
Note: You can even add ginger juice and a pinch of clove (laung) powder to this drink.
