Ingredients

  • 2 raw bananas
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp rava
  • 2 tsp rice flour
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Peel the raw bananas.
  • Cut them lengthwise into slightly thick slices. Do not make very thin slices.
  • Keep them immersed in water till the time you prepare the masala paste.
  • To make the masala paste, in a plate, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Coat the banana slices with this masala paste.
  • To prepare the outer coating, in a plate, add rava, rice flour and salt. Mix well.
  • Coat each slice of banana with this rava rice flour mixture.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Place the banana slices in the pan.
  • Fry on both sides until they turn golden and crispy.

Notes

 The banana slices can be shallow fried or deep fried as per your preference.
