Kachchi Haldi ki Sabzi

Peel and chop/grate raw turmeric using hand gloves as turmeric tends to leave stains on hands.

Chopped Turmeric

Heat ghee in a pan. Add bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves

Add chopped garlic and saute till the garlic is well roasted

Add chopped green chillies and saute

Add chopped ginger and saute

Add chopped turmeric roots and saute till the turmeric is cooked well.

Add chopped onion and saute for few seconds

Add peas and saute.

Cover and cook till peas turn soft

Add chopped tomato

Add chilly powder, cumin coriander powder and salt.

Add whisked curds

Cook covered for few minutes

Finally garnish with coriander leaves
