Chana Dal Chutney

A protein-rich chutney made using split chickpeas, coconut and spices

Heat oil in a pan. Add chana dal and roast till they turn aromatic

Add dry red chillies and saute for few seconds

Add curry leaves and saute 

Blend roasted ingredient alongiwth coconut, garlic, ginger and tamarind

Prepare a tempering of oil, udad dal, mustard seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves

Pour tempering into the chutney
