Guava Cheese with jaggery / Perad 

Red, ripe guavas

Pressure cook the guavas for 2 whistles 

Transfer cooked guava to a blender jar

Blend to a smooth paste

Transfer guava pulp to a big sieve

Gently press the guava pulp in the sieve to separate  seeds of guava from the pulp

Heat a pan and add guava pulp and jaggery

Cook on a low flame .

When the mixture starts thickening, add lemon juice

Cook till it starts leaving the sides of the pan

Transfer to a greased tray

After it cools completely, cut into desired shapes.
