Spring Onion Zunka

Spring Onion Zunka – a traditional  dish from the Maharashtrian cuisine made with spring onions and gram flour.

1 big bunch of spring onion

Wash and chop the spring onions

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, chopped garlic and chillies. Saute

Add chopped spring onion, salt, turmeric and chilli powder. Saute

Add besan/gram flour

Cover and cook till the besan is cooked well.

Spring Onion Zunka is ready to be served
