Paneer Bhurji |

Ingredients

  • 250 grams paneer
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 2 to 3 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves  

Instructions

  • Firstly crumble the paneer using your fingers. Keep this aside.
  • Chop onions, tomato, green chillies and keep aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan.
  • Add cumin seeds.
  • When the seeds start crackling, add chopped onions.
  • Saute for a second.
  • Add chopped chillies and tomatoes.
  • Saute on low heat.
  • Add ginger garlic paste.
  • Saute till the onions and tomato turn soft and mushy and has lost their raw smell.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well.
  • Add some water in case the mixture is dry.
  •  Add crumbled paneer and mix well.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve Paneer Bhurji with bread/ paav or chapatis.
