Wash Knol Khol and its leaves.
Peel KnolKhols and chop them into cubes.
Chop the leaves and keep aside.
Heat oil in apan.
Add mustard seeds and asafoetida.
When the seeds start popping, add chopped onion, chopped garlic and chopped green chilly. Saute for few seconds.
Add KnolKhol cubes and chopped greens.
Add salt and turmeric powder. Mix well.
Cover and cook till the Knol Khol cubes are cooked
Add red chilli powder, cumin coriander powder and garam masala.
Cover and cook for few seconds.
Serve hot with phulkas.
