In a bowl add whole green gram and barnyard millet.
Add water and rinse it a few times. Draint he water. Add water and keep it soaked for 7 to 8 hours or overnight.
Once soaked, drain the water, transfer the soaked ingredients to a mixer jar.
Add green chillies, ginger, salt and a little water. Blend to a fine paste.
Check the salt. Add more salt if required.
Add more water if required to adjust the consistency.
Heat a dosa pan. Grease it lightly
Pour a ladleful batter on the pan and spread to make a thin dosa.
Sprinkle chopped onion and chopped coriander leaves.
Drizzle ghee over the dosa and cook till it turns golden and crispy.
Serve hot with coconut chutney.
