Wash and soak foxtail millets in water for 6 to 7 hours.
After 6 hours, drain the water and keep soaked millets aside.
Heat a pan, Add cumin seeds.
When the seeds start crackling, add bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon and green cardamom, Saute for few seconds.
Add onion slices, Sprinkle a pinch of salt and saute till onions turn soft.
Add chopped tomato, chopped green chilly, ginger garlic paste and saute.
Add green peas and chopped carrot. Mix well.
Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, cumin coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well.
Add soaked millets and water. Cook on high heat till the water comes to a roaring boil. Reduce the heat, cover the pan and cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
Garnish with chopped corianderleaves. Serve hot with curds/ raita.
