Amla Mirchi Thecha – a spicy, tangy Maharashtrian chutney made with amla, green chillies, garlic, and peanuts, pounded to a coarse, flavorful blend.
Thecha , a fiery rustic chutney made by pounding green chillies and garlic holds a special place in Maharashtrian cuisine. It is typically served with bhakri, roti or thalipeet. , I’m sharing my version of thecha with a twist – we’re adding amla, or Indian gooseberries, to give it a tangy punch and a nutritional boost.
