Cucumber Mint Raita

A cooling raita to go with spicy food.

Ingredients
1 cup curds (dahi)
1 large  cucumber, peeled and grated (kakdi / kheera)
1 tsp roasted cumin powder (jeera powder)
1/2 cup chopped mint leaves (pudina)
salt as per taste

Method

  • In a mixing bowl, add the curds and whisk till it becomes smooth.
  • Add salt, roasted cumin powder and mix.
  • Add  grated cucumber, chopped mint leaves and mix.
  • Refrigerate and serve chilled.
