Soya Granules Pulao is a nutritious one pot dish perfect for quick and healthy meal. Made with soya granules, basmati rice, veggies and spices, this pulao is tasty and satisfying. Soya granules is a great plant-based protein source and blends well with spices like cumin seeds and whole garam masalas, infusing the pulao with a rich taste.
Soya Granules Pulao is a wonderful way to incorporate plant-based protein into your diet while enjoying a comforting and flavorful meal. This pulao pairs well with curds or riata. It is an excellent option for kids’ lunch boxes or as a wholesome family meal.
Step-wise instructions with pictures
Soak soya granules in hot water for 15 to 20 minutes.
Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.
Chop the onion and green chillies. Keep aside.
Squeeze out water from soya granules and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, chopped onion and saute. Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste. Saute for few seconds till the onion turns golden in colour.
Add soaked soya granules and fresh peas. Mix well.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin-coriander powder and garam masala. Give a quick mix.
Add soaked rice and mix .Add water. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix.
Close the pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles. Serve with raita and pickle.

Soya Granules Puloa | One Pot Soya Granules Pulao
Ingredients
- ½ cup soya granules
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 3 green chillies
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- I inch cinnamon
- 3 cloves
- 2 to 3 cardamom
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup fresh green peas
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- salt to taste
- 1 cup of chopped coriander leaves
- 2 1/2 cups water
Instructions
- Soak soya granules in hot water for 15 to 20 minutes.

- Add turmeric powder, red chillipowder, cumin-coriander powder and garam masala. Give a quick mix.
- Add soaked rice and mix.
- Add 2 ½ cups of water.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and mix.
- Close the pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles.
- Open the pressure cooker when the steam escapes naturaaly.
- Serve Soya Granules Pulao with curds or raita
