Made with a blend of sattu a variety of dry fruits like almonds, cashews, pistachios, and seeds like pumpkin and sunflower, these Sattu and dry fruit laddoos are packed with protein, healthy fats, and essential nutrients.

List of ingredients to make Sattu and Dry Fruit Laddoos
Roasted Chana or readymade Sattu powder
Dry fruits : Almonds, Cashew nuts and pistachios (or any dry fruits of your choice)
Seeds : pumkin seeds and sunflower seeds
Sweetner : jaggery Powder
Cardamoms
Dried rose petals for garnising

Step-wise instructions with pictures
Peel the chana skins and discard the skin.
Blend peeled chanas to a fine powder. This is our homemade sattu. Set this aside.
Heat a pan. Add dry fruits and seeds. Roast on low heat till they turn crunchy.
Allow roasted dry fruits to cool completely. Transfer them to a blender jar and blend to a coarse powder. Keep aside.
Crush the cardamom pods to a fine powder and keep aside.
Heat a pan and add the sattu. Roast on low heat, adding ghee gradually in small quantities.
Saute on low heat until it changes its colour and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Once it reaches this stage, take it off the heat and allow it to cool completely .
To the roasted sattu, add dryfruit powder, jaggery powder and cardamom powder. Mix everything thoroughly so that all the ingredients are well combined.
Once mixed, shape them into laddoos. If the mixture feels a bit dry, you can add more ghee to ensure the laddoos hold their shape.
Garnish with dried rose petals for a festive touch. Store in an airtight container.

- 3 to 4 cardamoms
- 7 tbsps ghee
Instructions
