Masala Shikanji – a classic drink for summers made with lemon juice and spices.
Masala Shikanji is a summer staple at my place. No amount of fancy drinks and squashes can beat the good old shikanji. It is the most easiest drink one can ever make.
There was a time when shikanji/ nimbu sharbat were commonly made in every household. But those days are gone and people are now addicted to carbonated drinks and artificially flavoured squashes that are easily available in the market. But in my opinion, a glass of chilled shikanji is the perfect thirst quencher and can never go out of style.
