It is a pretty simple recipe where paneer is crumbled and cooked with onions, tomatoes and spices. This is a basic paneer bhurji recipe. However it can be customized by adding vegetables like capsicum, sweet corn, carrots etc. I have earlier shared the recipe for paneer bhurji with capsicum and corn, the recipe for which is here.
Paneer Bhurji pairs well with bread, paav , chapatis or even as a side dish with your meals. It can be served as a topping on toasts making it a perfect breakfast / snack option. Paneer Bhurji is an excellent option for people following a low-carb or keto diet as it is high in protein and low in carbohydrates.
